Hi Anthony, it's great to meet you! Welcome to the community. Be sure to check out the Screenwriting Lounge, it's a great place to network, get advice, do script swaps, etc. Everyone is very supportive and knowledgeable.https://www.stage32.com/lounge/screenwriting
The Browse Section is a great place to search for industry professionals in the US: www.stage32.com/people
Also, I suggest adding a detailed bio to your profile. It'll help you build relationships/network on here. You could add things to your bio like why you became a screenwriter, your goals, and what movies and shows you like.
Thanks Maurice, will do. I love that movie and grew up with it, even though we used to laugh at how the hacking scenes were. They served as a great depiction to avg audience at the time IMHO. Some good classic tracks on that movie.
Yes, so the beginning of Mr Robot seasons. There was also a very good movie called Takedown that was based on the true story of Kevin Mitnick. This shows a bit of the era I was involved in.
Thanks for the video, Anthony Michaels. I'll definitely have to study "Takedown" if I write a hacking script. "Mr. Robot" is on my watchlist. I watched "The Little Things" the other day. Rami Malek co-starred in that movie.
Loved Hackers and Mr. Robot. Never heard of Takedown I will have to add that one to my watchlist. Your script Anthony Michaels sounds very interesting.
Anyway, I agree with Niki. Networking in the screenwriting lounge is a good way to go. I would also explore the Education tab as there are webinars that teach you about raising money for your film and you can pitch to execs. I would also connect with other Aussies on here who may be able to point you in the right direction of finding an Australian literary agent. Thank you for taking the time to Introduce yourself. Looking forward to hearing more from you.
Hi Maurice, I did the visuals as a quick mash up to the music, the music was a profit free blend by a group called OC. I'll try not reveal much more as I may see if I can use them further as it's streaming only. I can make my own music too but the primary focus was to get the feel of what I'm making here. Nothing more.
Lovely to meet you, Anthony Michaels. MECHANICAL GODS sounds intriguing. Excellent music and visuals. So glad you saw the error of your ways when you were a young hacker and turned your life in a more positive direction. Assuming this is a first project, engaging an agent may be hard in any country. I've been told that if you have an option or an offer on the table it's easier. S32 is a great place to pitch execs and producers to get the ball rolling. Wish you much success!
Calling for Producers, Financiers, more Directors, VFX artists as I assemble a team expression of interest feel free to add me, and let's talk! I am also looking for an Agent.

You're welcome, Anthony Michaels. I grew up with HACKERS too. Are there any movies or shows that have realistic hacking scenes?
