hello! I’ve been on Stage 32 for a while and could really use some help. I’m in an area that doesn’t haven’t a ton of film influences, and sadly help I’ve searched for elsewhere has only lead to problems with gatekeepers.
Basically I’m just looking for any help from anyone that can give advice or anything. I also wouldn’t mind having someone I can bounce off ideas with. But it’s really hard not to be discouraged, but I believe I have good stories I just need help moving on from this rut. Thank you if you read this.
do you want to make your own films? that can be a way where you don't need to worry about gatekeepers it's just a matter of balance - how much resources do you already have, vs how much work are you willing to put in with minimal resources vs how much skill or do you know someone who has skill at getting more resources?
