This is a GREAT question, Steven Gamella. I'm looking forward to connecting with more people here on Stage 32, learning about other facets of filmmaking outside of screenwriting and perhaps even jumping into things I've not done before like acting and directing. Can't help it - I'm addicted to learning! What about you?

In 2024 I plan to focus more on writing my. scripts, books, and even plays. I also plan to put the work out there more to be judged then to judge it myself

I am already writing a new spec script for a tv pilot. I will be writing more books, and connecting with people here, and seeking people who may be interested in reading my scripts. I am willing to share a script with someone, if they are willing to do the same!

Goals: Continuing my quest to learn about screenwriting, then convert my book series into screenplays. Also, finish the world map painting for the series, and lose the extra pounds I put on while recovering from two major surgeries that immobilized me for awhile. (So annoying!)

This year, my goal was to finish writing and editing the fantasy trilogy I started 4 years ago. It came down to the wire, but I managed to finish the trilogy, edit and format all three books, and prepare 1-page summaries for all three of them. In 2024, I will begin the query process. It will be my first time querying a novel. So I guess my goal is to find publishing and or representation as a novelist. I also hope to finish Xtreme Saga Book 1 and finish the outline for book 2.

Ashley Renee Smith I hope to read more this year too. I've spent the last few years writing a lot, but didn't have much time for reading. I literally just finished The Dark Tower Book 1 for the first time and hope to complete the series this year.

I need to get back to reading plays and finding scenes and monologues. Also, I want to write that Stage 32 blog that Ashley Renee Smith asked me about months ago. lol
