Hello all. I’m looking to put together a creative writing team a la Monty Python or Broken Lizard.
Three-to-four writers to work together with to create some fun new stuff. Initially comedic but no hard and fast rules. Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Action, Adventure, Drama, Romance. Wherever the path takes us as long as it’s fun. (And marketable.)
Hit me up if this is something that you’re interested in. I’m on the West Side of LA, so please be somewhere in the vicinity or at least somewhere with a comfortably commutable mid-point.
And for all my fellow introverts out there wanting to hit the button and reply while simultaneously not wanting to hit the button and have to interface with other people regularly: I feel you. Hit the button anyway. There’s lots of us out here. We need to stick together. If enough of us do, we can even call it the Introvert Writers Gang or some-such.
Hope to hear from you!

Hey Rich Hynes, it might be worth posting in the screenwriting lounge as well!

Thanks all! It actually is in the screenwriting lounge also. Not a big immediate response there. Will give it a boost.

Rich... do you consider a virtual commute mid-point from Toronto 'close' or doable? Maybe I can contribute to your plan with some 'wrong-thinking'... if that works for you.

Hi Brian Couch I was looking to keep it local so that it could be in-person, Writing being an inherently solitary adventure, I was planning on regular working get togethers to better connect and fuel the creativity. Not to mention having fun and enjoying the company as well as the shared creative process. Plus, I'm hoping it would make it easier to collaborate once things start growing past the idea stage. Which is the ultimate goal. #TeamWork
However, an online version in addition to is could always be an idea too. I'll keep it in the back of my head. Thanks!

Sounds cool. I wish I lived closer to LA and could be a part of it. Best of luck!!
