Won "Best Score" in the 2017 48 Hour Film Project for "Hotline", nominated for Best Score/Sound Design four times at the 168 Film Festival (The Last Command, 2017; Notes, 2018; Storm Watch, 2021 and Love Like A Hero, 2021)". Also nominated for best score in 2019 for "A Dog and Her Boy". Scored/co-produced "Elegantia" which won Houston 2013 48 hour MVP (8 awards) and then placed 2nd to Paris Internationally at Filmapalooza (4 awards). Scored 4 winning films - "Gift Of Grace" which won best Kidvid film, "d-o-G" which won best Comedy film and "The Door" and "Independent Living" which won best Documentaries.Writes both live and electronic / sampled music for both instrumental and vocal performances. Maurice - my two favorite genres are orchestral and jazz. When I am not scoring, I write
lead sheets' for classes I take at Houston Community College (I have been in that 2 year college now for 21+ years :) ). Lately finding musicians to collaborate with has been challenging so I get the 'prof' to read the sheet. Here is one from last semester - first time he saw it!
