Happy Saint Patrick's Day to all, everywhere! I'm George Zouvelos, a 6'4 SAG-AFTRA / AEA actor, screenwriter, and director. I am a New York City native with deep Greek / Hellenic roots. Throughout my acting career I have appeared in various roles in award winning short films, independent television, Network TV, and on Stage. I studies at Lee Strasberg in New York city and various Method acting with other Acting coaches. I received my Filmmaking' creds at the New York fFlm Academy in New York city as well. Method acting, known as the Method, is a range of rehearsal techniques, as formulated by a number of different theatre practitioners that seeks to encourage sincere and expressive performances through identifying with, understanding, and experiencing a character's inner motivation and emotions. These techniques are built on Stanislavski's system developed by the Russian actor and director Konstantin Stanislavski and captured in his books. The method theatre practitioners was commonly practiced by legends Lee Strasberg, Stella Adler, and Sanford Meisner who customized the Stanislavsky method, and made their own variations of acting studies which were widely taught by and to some of the most famous actors in the United States. I’ve studied all the aforementioned, including Christine Chubbuck. and Uta Hagen. I hope this helps.
