Was wondering if anyone here ever was just about to bin an idea literally to have it suddenly rise out of the ashes? Did a Pat Higgins zoom & learned he told someone he’d just remorsefully literally binned a passion project only for the producer to then say “We gotta make that.” “Powertool cheer leaders V boyband of the screeching dead.” Not my kind of horror but interested to hear the score of the musical. Hoping for some original sound tracks. Keep all my binned projects on file & never erase totally. LOL I erase them from my own head though unless get a rare unexpected request.

I don't think that's happened to me, Debbie Croysdale. I keep my projects on file in case I wanna work on them later. Or in case I wanna combine two or more projects into one project.

I tend to keep old work on file just out of habit. I don't like erasing work entirely because you never know, new skills you pick up as you improve your craft might actually lead to giving that work new life. Definitely a fan of keeping everything
