Back to Stage 32 with news that I hope will inspire & engage support from fellow professionals:
As an academic, I was recently putting together my feminist short film and realized it's close to a feature-length, so I am now completing it as a feature film. I wrote, directed, and financed, along with my partner, for a short, so I never created a pitch deck for investors. But now that it is turning into a feature film, I am considering fundraising for film festival releases, where there will be distributors.
I am very new to this process so taking a step-by-step approach.
All my time is spent finishing the final scenes and editing the film, but I am wondering if there are professionals who help crowdfunding and, if required, putting together a pitch deck. I just unloaded my logline and got the opening scene to share: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DHm_3NM1dWY&t=19s
Thank you for reading and watch in advance

Impactful opening scene, Dr Samita Nandy! You could hire someone to put together a pitch deck (www.stage32.com/find-jobs).
You could also take this webinar that’ll teach you how to make a pitch deck attractive to investors and top talent: www.stage32.com/education/search?term=Pitch+deck&h=how-to-put-together-a...

This is completely inspiring, Dr Samita Nandy! So incredibly cool that you are crafting a feature film from the short you originally intended to make. Bravo! Maurice shares some great advice. I also recommend this Stage 32 webinar on how to get your project into film festivals - Greg Sorvig is an amazing recourse: https://www.stage32.com/education/search?term=festival&h=how-to-get-your...

I am not sure how old you are, but perhaps you remember the early iPhone campaigns when people were still being educated on what an "app" was, Apple came up with the slogan, "There's an app for that." In my tenure here at Stage 32, I have quickly learned that if you need to learn something having to do with Film and/or TV production, well, "there's a class for that" (or in this case a lab). I think this lab coming up, which is being taught by Sara Elizabeth Timmins, and is titled Stage 32 7-Part Pitching Lab: Create Your Feature Film Investor Pitch Deck is exactly the help you need. Not only will you have a top producer guiding you on creating your pitch deck, but you will also have full access to her via email throughout the entire 7-week lab. It is pretty remarkable! Let me know if you have any questions. Myself and the Education Team are always here to help.
