Hi Stage 32 community,
I submitted my script to the Open Writing Assignment titled "Female Literary Manager With Clients Working Across Film & TV Looking to Expand Roster with High-Concept Genre Scripts – Especially MENA Voices (0493)."
According to the listing, announcements for Quarter-Finalists, Semi-Finalists, Finalists, and Winners were scheduled for June 5th. I understand dates can sometimes shift, but I haven’t seen any updates posted yet.
Has anyone else heard anything about this OWA? Just wondering if the results have been posted somewhere else or if they’ve been delayed.
Thanks in advance, and good luck to everyone who submitted!

Hi, Mahmoud Boukhriss. I haven't heard anything about this OWA, but Sam Rivera usually posts the OWA Finalists announcements in the Screenwriting Lounge and Writers' Room Lounge, like this post: www.stage32.com/lounge/screenwriting/OWAs-Finalists-Announcement-and-Som...

Hi Maurice Vaughan
Thank you again for your kind words and encouragement. I truly appreciate it.
I had one more quick question I was hoping you could help with: If a script is selected for an OWA say it advances to the finalist or winner stage what typically happens next?
Do writers usually get contacted directly by Stage 32, or is everything announced publicly first? And if selected, does Stage 32 facilitate the introduction with the executive, or is there a further vetting process before that?
Just curious to understand how the next steps usually work. Thanks so much again for all your support and insight it's really helpful for writers like me trying to navigate this process!
Best regards,
Mahmoud Boukhriss
