On Writing : Book-to-Film Adaptation by Abdulrahman Alghamdi

Book-to-Film Adaptation

Hey guys,

I wrote a book that I think could make a great movie, but I don’t have a script and don’t really know how to write one. Hiring someone isn’t in the budget right now either.

If anyone here knows how I could pitch the book to someone who might want to adapt it—or if you've been through something similar—I’d love any advice.

Thanks so much!

Carol M. Salter

Wish I knew cos I'd bite their hand off too.

Your best bet is to read some scripts similar to genre of your book and try to write the first few pages. Writing a script is not as hard as you think. Plenty of info online that can help you. Use A.I for advice and questions. Good luck.
