NPR had an interview with James Gunn talking about "the superhero movie business" and the need to elevate of the writer to make a good movie. A good 6-minute listen.

Thanks for sharing the interview, David C. Velasco. It's a must-listen! Starting a movie without a finished script is a disaster waiting to happen. Things in a script are connected, so if you come up with something for Act Two or Three on set, you'll have to change things in Act One (reshoots).
