I'm Ewa. I write stories that feel like secrets you're not supposed to know, but once you do – you can't forget them.
Most of my characters are women. Complicated, burning, grieving, reborn. I’m drawn to silences, to the undercurrents between glances, to moments that crack us open just enough. I believe in elegance and danger coexisting in one frame. I also believe in long walks, eye contact, and dialogue that leaves something unsaid.
I write in English and Polish. I live somewhere between centuries – with one foot in Old Europe, and one in whatever studio will let me haunt their lot.
My stories tend to carry a sense of memory. Of something lost. Of something worth fighting for.
If any of that sounds like you, I’m glad we found each other.
See you around the lot.

Hi, Eve Mazur. I really like the intro to your post! "I write stories that feel like secrets you're not supposed to know, but once you do – you can't forget them." What are you working on/pitching?

Yeah, that's a great catchy line.

A nice and free verse poetic expression about subtext. You got a way with words. Write on.

Welcome to Stage 32, Eve Mazur. I’m Ashley Smith, the Head of Community here, and your introduction stopped me in my tracks, in the best way.
The way you describe your writing feels like poetry in motion. Your voice is elegant, haunting, and rooted in emotional precision. I’m especially struck by your focus on women who burn and grieve and rebuild themselves; those are the kinds of characters who linger, who matter.
I think you’ll find kindred spirits here, especially in the Screenwriting and Authoring & Playwriting Lounges (https://www.stage32.com/lounge/screenwriting and https://www.stage32.com/lounge/playwriting). I hope you’ll start a thread there about your writing process or share a bit about how your bilingual storytelling shapes your voice. I know it would spark incredible conversation.
