Looking at creating a new streaming service for filmmakers who have completed shorts they want to expand into features., episodes of TV or have shot some of their film project. Would that be of interest to people? What would serve you better?
Hi Andrea , I am from Egypt. I have a screenplay about a man who failed but succeeded in his life simply because he never gave up. I will give you the script to read carefully, and then you can name your price and purchase it with a legal contract.
And the next Community Open House is August 27th. It’ll also help you navigate Stage 32 and connect with creatives and industry pros. There's going to be a live Q&A. You can sign up for free here: www.stage32.com/education/products/stage-32-s-august-community-open-house Even if you can't make it live, sign up and you’ll get the recording in your Education Library when it’s available.
That sounds like an exciting idea. For me, one of the biggest challenges as an indie filmmaker is having a space where projects can be showcased not just as finished products, but also as works in progress that invite collaboration, funding, and audience building. A streaming platform that bridges those stages could be really valuable.
I think features like visibility to potential investors, creative collaborators, and even early audiences would serve filmmakers well. It would also be helpful if the platform encouraged networking between creators so it is not just about distribution, but also about connection.
I would definitely be interested in hearing more about your vision and how you see it working.
I’ve thought about this, but the main issue is finding a paying audience for amateur projects without stars or production value. Most people won’t pay for that, especially since you can find it on YouTube already.
