Introduce Yourself : My first script: LGBT Historical Drama by Olga Burkova

My first script: LGBT Historical Drama

Hello everyone!

I'm Olga, 40 years old, from Russia. I'm new to Stage 32 and and new to scriptwriting. I like drawing and creating stories, but I just finished my first script recently. I'm excited to be part of this community and would be glad to connect with fellow creatives.

My script is titled "Diary and Watch." This is a historical melodrama, psychological drama, and war story inspired by real events of the Titanic disaster and World War I, exploring forbidden love in early 20th-century Britain.

Logline:

Amid the triumph over Germany in 1945, a wealthy industrialist, clutching a watch and leafing through his diary, recalls a love for a working-class young man, kindled on the Titanic and shattered by prejudice and WW1.

I will be glad to hear your feedback, especially if you are interested in LGBT stories, historical or military dramas. I am open to discussion and want to find out how to improve the script and possibly promote it.

Thanks again, Maurice Vaughan 5. I added the project, but there were some glitches. I don't understand a lot of things here yet, and not everything is working out.

Olga Burkova, I really like how you tie together such important events from the 1900s. The Titanic, World War One and the end of World War Two. I would definitely watch the film. Best wishes from an American living in Germany.

Olga Burkova

Wyman Brent, thanks!

Olga Burkova, you are welcome. By the way, this American was living in Russia the day the Soviet Union ended.
