Excited to share my current project with you all — would love to connect with like-minded producers and investors!
I’m currently raising funds for my LGBTQ+ dramedy series Some Kind of Wonderful, which will be filmed entirely on location in Palm Springs, CA.
The original pilot screened at 35+ festivals worldwide and won multiple awards. Now I’m embarking on a brand-new pilot and first season, with sharper comedy, deeper emotion, and Palm Springs itself as a leading character.
We’re running our campaign on Wefunder (https://wefunder.com/reidling.entertainment
), and this is structured as an investment opportunity. Investors have the potential to earn 2x their investment back through a revenue share model. We’ve already received strong support from the Palm Springs community and local businesses.
My past work includes the cable series BoysTown and the feature film Heels. I’m passionate about bringing authentic, joyful LGBTQ+ stories to the screen, and I’d love to connect with producers, investors, or allies here on Stage 32 who share that vision.
Thanks so much,
Ricky Reidling

Hi, Ricky Reidling. I’m a Stage 32 Lounge Moderator. I wanted to let you know I moved your post from the Financing/Crowdfunding Lounge to the Your Stage Lounge because it’s promotion. Promotion can go in the Your Stage Lounge and on Your Wall.
You can put promotion in a main Lounge (Financing/Crowdfunding Lounge, Producing Lounge, Filmmaking/Directing Lounge, etc.) if your post starts a conversation that’s helpful or educational to the community, like giving advice or asking a question.
You can also put promotion in one of the main Lounges if you're asking for feedback.
The ways to connect with other members in the main Lounges are making helpful/educational posts and commenting on other people’s posts.
Let me know if you have any questions.

Ricky Reidling, sounds like a great project. I was in Palm Springs many times over the years when I lived in California. I am not a producer or investor. However, if you need music, just let me know. I have written around 300 songs, including one I wrote specifically to support the LGBTQ+ community. It is titled, Dance Like Your Dignity Depends On It.
