Hey everyone,
It may sound cliché, but if you keep working hard, you will get better. I’ve been writing screenplays for 25 years, and this year I feel like my writing truly leveled up. In fact, my latest screenplay Freaks of the Full Moon earned a double recommend from Stage 32 in August.
I think part of this growth comes from all the other writing I’ve been doing. During the pandemic, I adapted one of my screenplays into a novel, Mr. Taffle’s Pants of Insanity, and that book went on to win multiple awards. Now my second book, Brain Pickle, will be published this October.
On top of that, I’ve just finished a brand-new screenplay, a thriller/dark comedy called The Gang Stalk, and I honestly believe it’s my best work yet.
So to my fellow creatives here: keep pushing forward. The work you put in will pay off!
