This project is one that took me almost 20 years to commit to writing, as the villain is a real-life monster. I did not want to glorify his deeds, life, or choices. It wasn't until I created the composite character of Daisy, a survivor, that I felt comfortable writing this story. Its non-linear structure can drive some readers crazy, but stick with it, and you can feel the ick that is Patrick, the fear, and the strength that becomes Daisy. I am honored by the continued recognition this script is receiving, and I look forward to passing it into the right hands in 2026!
