How Do, Stage 32! Bobby B here. Still grinding it out writing Screenplays and making flicks. I find it inspiring and lights the fire under my *$$ to watch movies about making movies. Here are my top 3: Bowfinger, One Cut of the Dead, and Ed Wood. Do you have one to recommend?

Hey, Bobby Baham. Hope you're doing great! Bowfinger is hilarious! I watched Found Footage: The Making of the Patterson Project the other day. Horror Comedy. It's one of the better Found Footage movies I've seen.

HI Bobby Baham . I loved One Cut of the Dead....well at first I thought it was horrible until the shocker that happens after the 30 min mark. At first I just thought I was watching the world's worst movie then the big reveal. Loved it! They nailed independent filmmaking mishaps down!.

Pb Barr I will add Stuntman to the list. The moment in Bowfinger that always gets me is the premiere of Chubby Rain and Bowfinger is looking up at his movie on the big screen with a glint in his eyes and the crowd reaction.

Kerry Cecil If you haven't seen the Last Drive-In w/Joe Bob Briggs on Shudder version where the BTS is broken down and Joe Bob gives one of the most inspirational closing statements for Indie Filmmakers I recommend. https://youtu.be/trxu_VUIqxc?si=F_quUAQ2xXCh6zo6

While not a movie, and it is fictional, it is inspired by true events, TV show THE OFFER, about the making of THE GODFATHER.

Hey Bobby! I’m Ashley Renee Smith, Head of Community here at Stage 32. I love this question, movies about making movies always hit a little differently. I’d add Adaptation and The Fabelmans to the list, both really capture that mix of chaos, obsession, and heart that comes with the creative process. What kind of project are you working on right now?
