I am a Stage 32 Thought Leader and screenplay reader. I've been a part of this community for a long time and the passion that is brought to this site every day is incredibly inspiring. I am an animation industry veteran on the production side, and I've worked at places like Disney, DreamWorks, Sony, and Netflix, to name a few. I've been out of the industry professionally for a couple of years, but I have 3 or four irons in the fire right now that I will hopefully be able to discuss in more detail at future Introduce Yourself weekends. I also have self-published 2 YA novels and am finally outlining the 3rd book in the trilogy. But enough about me. Comment below on the amazing things you're working on!

Hey, Brian Smith! It's great to see you at Introduce Yourself Weekend again. I'm rewriting two feature scripts, outlining a feature script, and working on other things here and there.

Can’t wait to hear more about your upcoming ventures. Over here, we’re in production on two short holiday animation's and planning our first explainer video, so it’s an exciting time for our team as well.

Wow, incredible background Brian Smith! Your journey through animation and storytelling is seriously inspiring. Can’t wait to hear more about those irons in the fire and your YA trilogy! I’m currently working on a few adventure/action games, plus a comedy-adventure feature, trying out comedy for the first time, which has been a fun challenge. Looking forward to seeing how your projects evolve!

Incredible work, Brian Smith—great to connect. I’m a Moroccan sci-fi author with three flagship projects:
The De-Evolution Game: Paradoxes Unleashed – A planetary time-reversal experiment fractures reality into eight rival timelines; astronauts and a rogue AI must pick one future to save.
The Silent PFC War – Alien biotech disables Earth’s prefrontal cortex; a hacked artificial moon becomes humanity’s last chance to reclaim free will.
The Disabled Puzzle: A New Life – A neuroscientist’s “memory helmet” turns disability simulation into a black-market thriller about empathy, identity, and the price of cure.
