By day 2 of the Austin Film Festival, we already connected with 2 writers who had success stories in the last few days thanks to Stage 32: one writer, Taylor C., recently attached a producer to her script after a consultation on Stage 32, and another writer, Sam T., attached Zero Gravity to his project.
The industry is on a roll. Specs are being bought. Producers are being produced. The indie market is thriving. Yes, there is consolidation and it can be difficult to find private equity to finance indie movies but it was never easy in the first place.
