Hello! My name is Gale, and I'm a 21-year-old beginner screenwriter. Currently, I'm trying to finish writing my screenplay and short film to film in January, completing my first episode screenwriting for a show that I can pitch with, and trying to continue with my other stories. However, I've taken a big break and don't feel confident anymore in my writing, but recently I went to the Austin film festival and realized that I wanted to do this for my life, career, and passion. I found my spark again, but I have to keep rekindling it. Does anyone have any tips for a self-taught screenwriter, especially on how to finish projects and be confident in what I write, even though it's just the draft? Oh, and to not get lost in the sauce while writing.
