Hey Stage 32 fam
Great to be here. I'm Paul Ponce — bilingual writer, producer, award-winning short-filmmaker, communication strategist, and most recently… novelist.
I write tech-noir stories built for the screen: sharp, stylish, cinematic worlds where high tech meets grit and rebellion punches up, not down.
My debut novel, A.I. Capone: The Digital Don, hit #1 in Amazon’s Sci-Fi Cyberpunk charts earlier this year and was described as “the most enjoyable tech-thriller of the year” by Indies Today.
It’s a cyberpunk thriller about a rogue defense AI who skips the apocalypse trope and starts acting like an old-school mob boss — going after the real villains of the world.
Think Blade Runner meets Scorsese, with black-ops atmosphere and conspiracy in the air.
My next mission? Adapting it for the screen.
And since it's Halloween, I’ve got no tricks, but I have a treat…

Paul Ponce I just downloaded it. The concept is right up my alley. My favorite genre (or subgenre) in all of literature is cyberpunk, and I grew up on Sterling, Gibson, etc.. Can't wait to read your novel.
