I just got my script request feedback, and I was disappointed that my script was passed. I had a feeling it was going to get rejected, but my script has grown since then, and this Saturday, I have a chance to pitch again, this time, to an executive that's more in my field of what I want my show for!

Congrats on getting to the script request level, even if it ended with a pass. That's still a threshold many never reach. It sounds like you're approaching it the right way though. Pitch, iterate, look for fit, pitch again. Good luck!

You might be feeling disappointed. But maybe your script deserves a better producer. It may seem like producers choose scripts, but in truth, the script chooses the producer — and it only shines in the hands of the right one.
