I'm Geoffroy Faugérolas (Geoff), Director of Development Services here at Stage 32.
I've spent over a decade working in development at companies like Coverfly, Imagine Entertainment, ICM Partners, and Paramount, and now I get to do what I love most: connecting writers, filmmakers, and creatives with the industry professionals who can actually move their careers forward.
My role is to make sure you have access to the best opportunities, whether that's through our Open Writing Assignments, executive pitch sessions, contests, or the Writers' Room. I work directly with managers, agents, producers, and executives to curate opportunities that lead to real results: paid assignments, representation deals, option agreements, and production opportunities.
Recent wins we're celebrating: Just in the past few weeks, we've had four Writers' Room members land success through our Open Writing Assignments: one writer was hired to develop a book adaptation, another signed a shopping agreement, and two more secured paid writing contracts. We also just announced major partnerships with DramaBox (featured in The Hollywood Reporter), Color Farm Media, Mammoth Pictures, and Zero Gravity Management. This year alone, over 85 writers in our community have signed with representation, optioned scripts, been hired for assignments, or landed development deals...and we're just getting started with 2026.

Geoff, you're one of the primary reasons I'm finding Stage32 so informative. Your calm, knowledgable contributions on the webinars and the feedback you give to those pitching ideas are really first-rate. It's also clear from what RB has said about you that you have been bringing a wide range of industry execs on board as a result of your previous contacts. Ready for some shameless self-promotion? In 2025, I optioned two scripts (That makes 6 total) and acted in 3 films with another script I co-wrote optioned and produced with a theatrical run and now streaming on Amazon Prime. Note: I am 79 years old, so I write this as an encouragement that it CAN happen at ANY age., so keep writing! All the best in 2026...

"Your calm, knowledgable contributions on the webinars" - I appreciate you pointing this out, Michael Thorn. This is Geoff's superpower. Not only is he completely plugged in, but the way he shares that knowledge with the community with clarity, actionable information and positivity is something everyone here should be embracing. If you're not reading his weekly newsletter, you're simply doing yourself a disservice. And, I might add, giving away a competitive advantage to those who do.
