I have a true-life story centered on growing up with a bipolar parent and developing extreme emotional awareness as a survival skill. The story explores perception, manipulation, truth, and confession, and would work as a psychological drama/thriller.
I’m looking to collaborate with a screenwriter to adapt it responsibly and artistically. I’m not interested in sensationalism — I want something grounded, ambiguous, and human. I have an outline and am open to shaping it together.

Hi, Matthew Chapman. Welcome to the community. Stage 32 has a blog that'll help you navigate the platform and connect with creatives and industry professionals all over the world. Screenwriters, producers, directors, and more. www.stage32.com/blog/how-to-successfully-navigate-the-stage-32-platform-...
Stage 32's next Community Open House is Dec 29th (www.stage32.com/education/products/stage-32-s-december-community-open-ho...). It's free to attend. It'll also help you navigate Stage 32 and connect with creatives and industry pros. Even if you can’t make it to the Open House, sign up and you’ll get the recording in your Stage 32 Education Library when it’s available.
I suggest adding a profile picture of yourself and a detailed bio to your profile. People will feel more comfortable networking and collaborating with you if they know what you look like. And if you have a picture, your profile will show up when someone searches for you. A detailed bio will help you build relationships/network on here. You could add things to your bio like your accomplishments, your goals, and what movies, shows, and books you like.
You can upload a picture by clicking the gear symbol in the top right-hand corner and selecting “Edit profile” in the drop-down menu, then clicking the red button underneath your location and choosing "Update profile picture."

You could make a post for a screenwriter on the Job Board (www.stage32.com/find-jobs).
