How do I write a theater resume when all my credits are from tv and movies?

I'm a SAG-AFTRA actor with several credits on my resume for TV, film, new media. I also moved to an area with little filming and a lot of theater. I've no theater credits. Do I try to rearrange my current resume or hand it in as is? Under training, I do have scene study. I've worked on Richard from Proof, Rothko from Red, Eric from Brooklyn Boy and dozens of others. 5 years of it. All full scenes, on stage for classes of a few to 25 students. What do you think?

Suzanne Bronson

Absolutely David Veal you can make those your theater credits. You played those roles live, in front of people. That's what I did was I starting out. Listed the scenes I did class and made up names for the theater. I.e instead of the naming the school you did them, name the stage you performed them on sounds classier.

Hi David Veal As an actor of 25 yrs and a coach I can assure you...It's ok to not have credits under the theatre section. It won't keep you from anything. Your tv/film credits show that you're acting and that's all that matters. You never have to fudge anything. You're good!

Suzanne Bronson

It's not a fudge, Treisa and he does have theatre credits. Which if auditioning for theater, he absolutely can list them. It won't hurt. You can even make two resumes David. When auditioning for theatre, put theatre on the top, when auditioning for TV, put TV on top. Make a separate section for training where you can list the school and who you trained under.

Thank you all for the inspiration and validation. I feel a lot stronger, focused on this now.
