Markiplier's independent horror film, Iron Lung, just scored a massive $21.5 million at the global box office, and the emotional YouTuber turned filmmaker believes its success could be a turning point. His project, entirely self-financed and made outside the studio system, went head-to-head with a new Disney movie, proving there's a huge audience for creator-led cinema. He hopes this victory inspires a new wave of filmmakers to pursue their own projects independently.
