New Trailer Drop: High-Stakes Action Meets Intense Romance in

Just hit upload on the trailer for my new short film, "Ek Hasina." It’s a love/action hybrid that doesn't pull its punches.

We poured a ton of energy into the visuals, the choreography, and the color grading to give this short a "big screen" feel on an indie budget. I'm really proud of what our cast and crew accomplished.

Would love to get your eyes on the trailer and hear honest feedback from the community!

The trailer looks great, and it doesn't give away too much, Ashok Kumar! It was weird watching it sideways though. I'm looking forward to watching Ek Hasina!

I really enjoyed the video. It was particularly insightful to see the editing process firsthand, as it highlights the significant effort required to produce a high-quality trailer.

If you are ever looking for technical advice or feedback on video editing, I would be happy to offer some guidance.

That's an intriguing teaser, Ashok Kumar. I clearly see the onscreen action (all those flying fists, lol) and, editing-wise, your swift cuts certainly accentuate that action.

Since you described the film as a love-action hybrid, I would like to see a trailer that also includes more of the love component of that hybrid.

Also, make sure the viewing angle of your trailer always matches that of your actual film (unless there's a legitimate creative reason for the difference). Otherwise, the odd angle will simply distract viewers from the trailer's content.

Ashok Kumar I like that you used multiple camera angles, and as someone who’s still challenged with color grading, I really like the open scene colors. Also, great music choice, it really adds to the energy and mood.

That said, while the trailer is fast paced and punchy, I’m not entirely sure what the story is truly about yet. A tiny bit more context could help the audience connect even more.

Overall, though, I’m really excited to see the full short! I’m watching on a laptop, so I had to tilt my head instead of just rotating the phone like I would on Instagram, but it still pulled me in.
