Kyiv, Ukraine has been an inspiring and meaningful backdrop to SAVING HOPE, a wartime love story.
Logline:
When a contemporary Ukrainian woman falls for her online coach, she confronts the blurred lines between love, technology and the ghost of the husband she lost in the war.
The resilience of the Kyivites and Ukrainians is so touching. They live a new normal, while 400 kilometers to the east, the lives of loved ones are taken on the frontlines.

Hi, Jack Vincent. Great to see you at Introduce Yourself Weekend. I’m a Stage 32 Lounge Moderator. I wanted to let you know I moved your post from the Introduce Yourself Lounge to the Your Stage Lounge. You can promote Saving Hope in your introduction post, but you need to introduce/reintroduce yourself to the community. You could check out other posts in the Introduce Yourself Lounge to get ideas for your introduction post. Let me know if you have any questions.

Jack, this hit me right in the soft tissue.
Kyiv isn’t just a “backdrop” to me. It’s where I fled from, and I’ve been desperate to get back for the last 20 years. So seeing you anchor Saving Hope there, and treat the place and its people with respect, matters.
That logline is brutal in the best way: love, tech, grief, and the war as a constant third presence in the room. Also, “Story Warrior” is a hell of a job title. It’s corny only if you’re not actually doing the work, and you clearly are.
And yes. The resilience of Kyivites and Ukrainians is something you don’t really understand until it’s burned into your bones.
