Starting over

"So it's like starting over again, but I look forward to the challenge." - Lee Majors

Lee Majors said that a while ago. You know Lee Majors? Guy from SIX MILLION DOLLAR MAN and THE FALL GUY? Well anyways (warning: gonna get vulnerable here) got me thinking about..er...me. My life was going fine in entertainment when life decided to beat the bejeebers out of me. Family deaths, losing 9 to 5 jobs, and most recently...homelessness. However, the day I left a homeless shelter, I have had an itch to scratch. And that itch is ENTERTAINMENT. Now don't get me wrong, I am the last person to talk about coming back into entertainment but...maybe I am. Maybe there is someone reading this maybe going through what I am at currently. How I got to this point with THIS particular saying is because me and a friend were watching a neat independent film called GHOSTERS: PHANTOM PATROL that I had a small on screen part in. When my face showed up, we both kind of laughed an I remembered what it felt like when the movie premiered in a movie theater and saw my face on the big screen. What a cool feeling that was. Also, my friend went "I guess I know someone who was in a movie." Then he goes "Want to watch THE FALL GUY?" As I watched that quote from Lee Majors hit me.

So as I embark on starting over again in entertainment, I look forward to the challenge. And whoever is reading this and going through it like I am...I think we got this.

Now let's go and do something in the world.

Richard Gustason When I was knee deep in my copywriting/sportswriting/publishing business, I always said, when you're an entrepreneur, you are perpetually unemployed because you're always looking for work. Congrats on the screen work. Good luck on the next gig.
