A few years ago, I discovered an amazing outlet to showcase my work through a website called Cuetube. They provide high end short films to download for composers to score original music for, along with the licensing to legally post anywhere you like. I used this to start building my portfolio and as soon as I felt like I had enough, I started applying for jobs and got hired almost immediately for a short film project right here on Stage 32. If you're lacking content, I highly recommend finding content online to score to that you can legally post on youtube or any other social website or app for your reel. It's done wonders for me.

I agree, Dude. I am subscribed to their membership and the content and genres they have and the quality they gave is good, like really good they will also provide some director notes and what the music should portray. Its good to create portfolio and also just some practicing different film score approaches.

Appreciate the disclaimer :) That looks like a really awesome website. What a cool tool for composers to score films. Tell me more about the project you got hired for here on Stage 32, that's awesome!
