IAI : Judgement Protocol

I’m also developing another project called IAI: Judgment Protocol. It’s a near-future political thriller where an AI Vice President eliminates crime overnight by enforcing a system called ‘Judgment on Sight.’

It looks like the world has been saved—until people realize they’ve lost the ability to choose.

It’s more about control versus humanity than just AI going rogue.”

Russell Hoffman

Didn't this just come out and was called "Mercy"?

Rashcell Mercer

I can see how it might give that impression from the visual, but the story is actually very different. It’s centered around an AI Vice President implementing a system called Judgment Protocol and what happens when control replaces human decision-making. Appreciate you checking it out though.

Looks like the title is actually Phantom-7?

Rashcell Mercer

I am trying out my different poster concepts that I have but you can see in there that it does says IAI judgment protocol and Phantom 7 is one of the events that's going on but don't worry I'll be sharing more

Russell Hoffman

How do you make cool posters like that? I have my first really good commercial script ready and I’d love to make one of those.

Regarding your story it seems to have something going I get that now, but like, did people actually vote for the AI or are we in a dystopian future of some kind?

Fuad Shawn

Very interesting plot

Hi Rashcell,

This is a strong and very market-relevant concept—especially because you’re not framing it as “AI gone wrong,” but as a philosophical power shift around control, autonomy, and moral authority. That already puts it a step above many AI thrillers.

What really stands out is the phrase “Judgment on Sight.” That’s not just a system—it’s a story engine. It creates immediate tension, ethical conflict, and a built-in escalation mechanism.

If I may offer a script doctor’s perspective, the real opportunity here is to sharpen the dramatic spine of the narrative:

Who is the human point-of-view character that emotionally anchors the audience?

What is the cost of perfection on a personal level—not globally, but intimately?

And most importantly: when does safety become more terrifying than chaos?

Projects like this really come alive when the audience is initially seduced by the system, not just threatened by it. If the AI truly “works,” then the conflict becomes internal and moral—not just external and political.

From a structural standpoint, I’d lean into a gradual inversion:

order → admiration → dependency → unease → loss of agency → resistance

That shift, if carefully paced, can turn this into a very compelling, high-concept thriller with strong emotional resonance.

Really intriguing premise—would be interesting to see how far you push the human dilemma within that system.

Rashcell Mercer

Thank you, I really appreciate you taking the time to break this down like that. That perspective actually helped me see the structure in a deeper way.

I’m still developing the full world and intentionally sharing pieces of it in stages, so it’s interesting to see what people naturally gravitate toward.

The “Judgment on Sight” concept is definitely something I plan to push further, especially from a human perspective like you mentioned. I want the audience to feel that shift, not just see it.

Your note about the emotional anchor and the gradual inversion really stuck with me—I’m going to lean into that as I continue building it out.

Appreciate the insight for real. Thank you All
