Hello everyone,
My name is Austin Anderson, and I'm excited to be part of the Stage 32 community.
I'm a screenwriter, manuscript editor, and creative storyteller based in Orlando, Florida. My journey into storytelling began with a lifelong love of books. Growing up, I was the person who always had a book in hand and could easily lose track of time while immersed in a great story.
Over the years, that passion evolved into screenwriting, story development, and manuscript editing. I enjoy helping writers strengthen their stories through character development, dialogue, pacing, and overall narrative structure. My favorite genres include fantasy, science fiction, mystery, romance, adventure, and character-driven drama.
One of the things I love most about storytelling is its ability to connect people from different backgrounds through shared emotions, experiences, and imagination. Whether it's a screenplay, novel, or television series, I'm always fascinated by stories that leave a lasting impact.
I'm looking forward to connecting with fellow writers, filmmakers, producers, authors, and creatives, learning from your experiences, and supporting one another as we grow in our craft.
What first inspired you to pursue storytelling, filmmaking, or another creative path?

Hi Austin, welcome!
For me, storytelling started less as a decision and more as a feeling I couldn’t get rid of. I was always drawn to the question of why people become who they become… what shapes them, what silences them, what brings them back to themselves.
Over the years, working with people from different countries and backgrounds made that question even stronger. No matter where someone comes from, there are inner conflicts, old patterns, hidden fears, and moments where something inside still knows there is more.
That eventually led me to develop Fragments of Fire, a musical psychological drama about identity, conditioning, inner conflict, and the quiet fight to remember who we were before the world told us who to be.
What I love about storytelling is exactly what you mentioned… it allows people from completely different lives to recognize something deeply familiar in each other.
Looking forward to following your work here.

Dennis Masseit Thank you for such a thoughtful response. I really connected with your point about people trying to remember who they were before the world told them who to be. Fragments of Fire sounds like a powerful and deeply human story. Looking forward to following your journey as well!
