It’s a piece that means a lot to me because it captures one of those moments where you stop overthinking, trust your instincts, and just make the film. No perfect conditions, no endless planning , just commitment, collaboration, and a tight deadline that forced me to grow fast.
Seeing it reposted today reminded me how important it is for us filmmakers to document our journeys. Not just the wins, but the messy middle, the problem‑solving, the learning curve, and the small victories that eventually lead to a laurel.
If you’re in the middle of your own project, whether it’s a short, a feature, a doc, or something experimental, I hope this encourages you to keep going. Sometimes the project that feels impossible becomes the one that teaches you the most.

Your story is not only inspirational for the success you have experienced in business and now as a filmmaker but also for the role Stage 32 education/labs, etc has played in your journey.
