While I'm still tailing that dream of an executive showing interest for my script, I can safely recommend you to try the pitch services. The notes I got for my project were solid and amazingly helpful. Just pick your script carefully, they are not cheap and may be for the best to have a good, perfect script so you can send it to contests.

Hey Guys, thanks for that. But tell me how many times have you put that one script in front of those pitch sessions and came up with them enjoying it, but not going any further with it?

Hey, @Ryan. I've done maybe 4 or 5 written Pitch Sessions. I didn't get script requests, but the notes helped me make my pitches and scripts better.

I've done only the 10 pages, and I had to upload the whole script. The notes are really good, it's just I don't understand why they won't go any further with me like having a meeting if they enjoy the script.

Sometimes it doesn't have anything to do with the pitch or the writing, @Ryan. They might pass because of the budget, they aren't excited by the concept, and maybe other things.

Thanks for that Maurice, we just keep putting them out there and see what happens.

I haven't done any, but there are a lot of things involved. What is the probability of a first-time writer getting accepted? I can guess it would be 1 out of 100 i.e., 1%.

Thank you Maurice, half the things on here I don't know about or know how they operate. How does the Army drive work? How's your scripts doing?

I got some excellent notes from the first 3 pitch sessions I did. Things were pointed out to me that I thought were self-evident in my pitch, but which really weren't. I got a read request on my 4th pitch and some mild interest. One note, look carefully at who you are pitching and if they have any particular suggestions for pitching them. Don't pitch a Rom Com at someone who is in the market for Horror.

I'm rewriting a Faith-based Sports Action feature script. It's going great. It's a lot of work. I started writing a Faith-based Crime Action feature, but I've just been working on the Sports script. Thanks for asking. How's your script(s) doing?

Ryan, I think that’s an interesting point. Sometimes a strong pitch gets positive feedback but still doesn’t move forward because something in the project doesn’t quite click for that person. I’m curious: when they say they enjoyed the script, do they usually give you any specific reason for passing? Ryan Phillips

No Alfred, they don't. You just gotta keep paying until that right one wants it. This is a numbers game. But like they been saying in here don't pitch horror to a drama exec who only wants drama only even though they do deal with horror but not at that time.

I have a family sitcom that I have been working on for awhile. Now it's time to unleash the beast.

Thanks guys, it's titled Big Sis, basically it's about an woman judge who takes a well deserved break from her job, but then her younger brother now comes stay with her because he messed up in life and got put on house arrest.
