Years ago I had an idea to connect between Authors and screenwriters/producers/Directors. We prepared an App where writers can post their work and people from the industry can take a look and see if it has potential for the screen. My partner at the time, a Hollywood producer too my idea and created a platform to do just that: connect between authors and the Film/TV industry. The platform was called TALEFLICK and it actually went live but had limited success.
The Stage 32 platform looks similar but more robust and better prepared.
I am hoping to find a screenwriter/producers/director who would take interest in my latest novel WHITEBOY. I have published 6 other novels but I think WHITEBOY is the most attractive and has potential to become aTV series or a feature film. My other books Tracks, Sleepers, The Hijacking is a espionage/suspense trilogy, Sea Raid is the true story of the Israeli frogmen takeover of the Marmara in the Med when it sailed toward Gaza in 2010.
There's a very, very talented guy on Substack who makes a heck of a living reading published and unpublished novels with an eye for what would do well on the silver screen. https://theoptionist.substack.com
You should check it out.
Of course, you need to adapt them into screenplays. If you're ready to do that, contact me.
Welcome, Niv! With (WHITEBOY), what makes you see it as particularly suited for the screen compared with your other novels the characters, the story world, or the structure?
