Hey everyone!! I'm trying to crowdfund my project www.indiegogo.com/moonbound24 to raise additional funds and I was wondering if anybody has suggestions for reaching a broader audience. Since December, a month before it launched yesterday, I've been actively promoting on Facebook, twitter, e-mail blasts to friends and family, a couple of podcasts, a radio show and here on Stage 32- so far. Any suggestions for the campaign and how to expand it's reach would be very much appreciated. Has anyone had a great deal of success on Indiegogo? Thanks so much for taking a look. Please SHARE while you're there! Thank you, thank you, thank you. Love and laughter, Ward
Trying to put together a cast and crew who will each one own a part of the film, Won 5 of 7 fests. :Location if midd oklahoma. If intrested email to news@mediainfoserv.com
Good luck Dan! Any help from the masses would be so very much appreciated. Thank you!
I'm just about to launch also Ward, I don't know the secret but I think media if possible would be a good help. best of luck to both of us.
i worked out mine , well it didn't work , but there isthis one thing i learnt , you must be ready to riase 25 % before the site can feature your campaign , so if you can ask family and personal friends to contributation , these things might work for you . any way good luck . Julian .
I thought you just needed at least 1 pledge in the 1st 2 days to be visible on indiegogo. Maybe not featured.

I've stumbled across a webpage The Prohpecies of Daniel - 40 Days and 40 nights, these guys are doing their own crowdfunding site to make a biblical doco about the book of Daniel. It's very well done except the rewards are very expensive. Maybe it's worht a try.
I've tried Indiegogo twice, to no avail. Kickstarter once, nothing much. I've asked for modest amounts each time - 5k or less and pushed it pretty well but couldn't get anything to fun my remaining production costs. There are a lot of places out there for crowd funding so I may not be done with it yet.
I have a friend doing some charity work in Thailand for Burmese refugees living and working in a dump, this might be a good way to help these people survive and stop the kids from dying from disease.

Good point Richard, I'm about to launch a campaign on Indiegogo and think I'll raise my goal limit, after all, what have I got to lose. And yes, this setting up and priming others to support me has taken some time away from what I should be doing, but I need the extra funds to go forward now. Catch 22.
