End of the World for Apocalypse?

Looking for input/opinion on the extinction of the human race. Working on a screenplay that involves this. Not over the top special effects but a future/thriller/Science fiction type. Is the end of life on earth still interesting to you or is it old hat?

Marvin Willson

It all depends on your concept and execution.

GMO foods have helped cause sterility and near extinction in the near future. A brilliant geneticist working on a solution finds herself part of something unthinkable, and Must go on the run.

I adore them too. We have to keep putting the 'they're breaking the planet' donkey to work... because it's true.

Also, there are just so many of us. The human race nearly became extinct about 70,000 years ago, I believe. Numbers dropped to about 20,000 worldwide. Immagine! That's like 5,000 breeding pairs!

Near extinction event probably after the Toba supervolcano eruption in Indonesia. Almost wiped out the human population then on the India subcontinent. The dust and smoke high in the atmosphere would have caused climate cooling (and it was already in the middle of the last ice age), so there'd have been widespread plant death which filters up the food chain.

work on the characters first...you...distrustful simply because you have a right to be...periods...not...coming on time...what is at risk here...future procreation of the species...another ''male thing'' of a jousting for position re other world primates based on female issues...or...what works...if you get back to it...you know what works...however some foreign understanding apparently obviously has crept in...simple answer piss it off...we are all completely original human beings whether we are crawling over a rubbish dump in Africa or in Peoria...sniffing baking soda...whoa thats a biggie that one...
