I am a student at Bowling Green State University majoring in Film Production and minoring in Creative Writing. I also have an Associate's Degree in Business Management. I am going to be a senior the fall semester of 2013. I am graduating in December 2014. I am taking time away from school for the summer to think about my future after graduation. After graduation, I want to be able to find a job where I can not make income, but continue to pursue my film career. This is where relocation comes to play. I lived in Cleveland, Ohio for 28 years. And I realize that Cleveland, Ohio does not really have a film industry to work in. There are several states that I am thinking about relocating to pursue a film career in: Orlando, Michigan, Kentucky, Indiana, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia. Before, I can make any hasty decisions I want to know what should I consider thinking about because I do not have any intention at the moment to move to California to pursue a film career

"to work in the film and television industry" is vague. The industry is quite specific. Producers are looking to hire skilled people in specific jobs. It is only in very low budget and unpaid projects where people tend to be on "the crew" doing a bit of everything. As Robin pointed out, one can make a living "in the industry" in many places around the States. Have you narrowed down what you want to do in the industry. You are minoring in writing - a TV writer really need to be in Los Angeles or NY as they begin their career because it all about the personal connections. But once established a writer can live anywhere. But you have no intention of moving to California so that's not one of your options. What is it, exactly, that you want to do in the film and television industry?
if you are serious about "FILM" , I think that you should pick three of the mayor industry hubs and select one .
