Read a Good Book Lately? : I just need some pointers :) by Sherry Davila

So this is out of my job description, but I have decided to start writing a book. Growing up I hated writing but I was good at it and my grandma also tormented me with the belief that I would be a writer one day. I wanted to some advice on a story plot that I have, The main focus will be on a girl named Sam & the meanings behind " Don't Grow Up To Fast" you can message me personally or comment here if you would like. the story has so much detail I want to put into it, however I'm not sure how to flow it together. I've won many essay contests in my time, however books are a different kind of story.
