When submitting a play, I find that each theater requires a certain style format. I find it a bit discouraging and frustrating trying to change my pdf file script around for each request. How do the rest of you feel about this? Thanks. Pam
I've started using Movie Magic Screenwriter which is supposed to include a stage format as well as the screenplay format. Haven't checked that feature out yet, but it may be an option for you.
I got FInal Draft a few weeks ago...it is a bit confusing, but am working on it. Thank you all for your comments...I'm thinking that perhaps I'm the only one who gets a bit frustrated with formatting. I love the creative end of playwriting, but formatting reminds me of my old high school typing class all over again! Grrrrrr....
Can be extremely frustrating. For all the Idiosyncrasies of the film industry, at the very least, everyone agrees on the same format.
Sorry to respond with another question but how do you find out what format they prefer?
