Screenwriting : What Inspires You To Write? by Jeremy Kenneth Hunter

People inspire me to write. Everyone has their own story to tell and I believe writing helps express these stories in ways that can't be duplicated.

So many things. I remember one day I was waiting for my mother to come out of the doctor's office and there was this man sitting standing across the street in a hoody for no reason. He became a character in one of my stories about a guy who was looking for a woman who helped him when he get into a car wreck. Another time I was dropping my daughter off at school and I looked out of the window, into the sky and saw the smoke trails from fighter jets make a big X in the sky. This gave me the idea for an invasion. I can safely say... almost anything inspires me to write something.

Personally I have a muse, an actual person who inspires me.

I have too many stories in my head that need to come out. I never know which format they need to be expressed in until I paradigm them.

Though it may sound cliche'd life inspires me, the uplifting, disturbing, touching, emotional, horrific, ethereal, funny and unusual events and experiences of life, inspire me to write. Considering the what if's definitely cause stories to be born. Hope that helps

My desire to write comes from an inability to do anything else. In truth, I would love to have a different calling. But this is it. On another note, have you decided on your documentary subject. I am trying to find a documentary film maker interested in taking up the issue of Canned Trophy Hunting, a vile practice where almost all of the participants are wealthy American's and Europeans.
