But would you, or anyone acting on your behalf agree not to take any form of legal action against me now or in the future for any form of copyright, or intellectual property infringement? Thank you.

Hi Ken , I know your comment is to Heather but as I am learning this industry and have studied law, I was wondering what you mean't by this last sentence. If she agrees to that and you do have scene from her screenplay in one of your movies without consent, she would have no recourse because agreeing to a sentence like that would it not give up part of her intellectual rights? Sorry ,just looking for clarity in case I get a similar issue...

Thank you Marilyn for your response, I appreciate it very much. Mr. Koh, I will be happy to submit my work to you IF you will tell me which screenplay you are interested in via an email to my personal address: Glindagood68@aol.com, as this will provide a time stamp / paper trail for me of when the request for my work was made to me. Every request is printed and filed prior to my releasing my work. As for my excerpts / loglines being on my website: The creation of my site is time stamped, all of my work is registered with the WGA and it was a well respected Screenwriter/Producer who suggested I include 1 PAGE of dialogue from a few of my scripts to showcase my writing style, thus possibly creating an interest in them. And thankfully he was correct. Most of my screenplays have been submitted to contests (5 have received awards) so that also provides me some comfort, should someone attempt to steal my work. Not allowing my scripts to be seen will prevent any opportunity for them to become a film. Any artist faces this dilemma, whether a singer being recorded, an artist having their work photographed and uploaded, etc. Mr. Koh, if you are interested, please contact me. Thank you.

Hi Heather. Thank you for getting back on this. As I have a few upcoming features I'm producing, I must decline to view your scripts without a standard release. I sincerely wish you all the best.

Mr Koh, I am not declining to sign a release. I have signed those each time someone has sent one to me prior to my sending them a PDF of my screenplays. My only hesitation was the request made on my Page at Stage 32. I do not want to make a commitment such as that in tbe comnents section of my Profile. If you would like to email me a release, I will sign and return it to you should you still wish to read my work. I meant no offense, only to avoid setting a precedent regarding my work and requests to read it.
