Andrew Mondia here and welcome here. I am a currently working on re-writing my one man show. Last April had a great time meeting industry professionals and looking forward to when I can live and work in LA. I did post asking for help but looking for a couple of brave souls to read my re-write on my one man show. Would some some honest feedback!

Welcome aboard by the way...
Janet not.. I am still in processs of writing it. But once done will let you know. Plans to finish it before end of the weekend. My coach would like me to have two people who don't know me to read it before my next session with her on July 1st.
Nice one Andrew.... good luck and look forward to hearing the rest of your story.....

Welcome Andrew, I hope this works well for you
Thanks... been working on my script and finding it's all over the place. Taking bit longer to work than expected.
It apparently takes a lot of effort. Here is one guy's explanation: "http://www.quora.com/How-do-I-go-about-writing-a-feature-length-screenplay-to-completion" I am glad I am in audio, it seems a lot easier than that!
Alle Segretti has made some great comments about improving scripts in various discussion on Stage32 too. Persevere and keep making it better.
Thanks.. I had written a version already but re-writing that and making more sense. Chopping some off too.

Hi Alle, you're welcome. I must say that was primarily thinking of the comments you had already submitted to these discussions, giving guidance and "things that keep script readers reading your material and not going to the next one" hints rather than any specific tutoring and analysis. Sorry if I was overstepping the mark. Hi Andrew. There are some amazing ways forward here, both in the on-site discussions and people who can provide tutoring and coaching and, I guess mentoring. I have been overwhelmed with how wonderful this community is. I pull Ale into our conversation and instead of her getting upset that I didn't differentiate between a stage and and a film act she, instead of pointing out my mistake, she used it as a way to make some more helpful points. so anyway, I am glad you're finding ways to improve your performance. Alle, thank you for helping Andrew and being so gracious to me.
Thanks Alle and yes you read right about it being a one man show. I'd rather give credit where it's due if someone was to help with the writing. One not experienced with Ghost writing and 2 wrong really. Rather be transparent. I managed to almost get it done but will be working on it more revising and improving. Eventually would need to collaborate with someone whose familiar with directing. Just taking baby steps. My first version had way too much and this is a bit better. All as I was asking is to have it read but found two people who are open to just reading it. Also my stage writing is not quite all there. Just bits and pieces of some direction. Am familiar with screenplay writing too.
Thanks Allie but I will wait. I am currently being talking to creative entrepreneur coach who also works in the entertainment industry in NYC. She had asked that I get two people to read a version of my one man show that I am re-writing. Good news is that I am almost one re-write. Hopefully will have it sent out tomorrow to the two people. I may change or add somethings but at least I am taking action in re-writing. My goal is to be able to live and work in the US.
