About Colin

A native of New Britain, CT, singer/songwriter/actor/playwright Colin Ivan Osborn is a graduate of Eastern Connecticut State University with a BA of Fine Arts: Concentration in Music Performance, Colin has been performing on stage since the age of three years old. Colin has performed all over the United States and has been fortunate to perform with and/or share the stage with a number of award winning recording artists. Colin has written and is in pre-production his stage play The Other Side. He is also a featured vocalist on the Hymn Melody on the Melodies Of My Heart album by Rev. Lisa Clayton and Judah. As an actor, Colin has performed in numerous plays, most recently in the MaPeach Production of The Wiz in which he played the part of The Tin Man and in A Raisin in the Sun in which he played Bobo, An Easter Journey in which he played Edward Scruce and two YAZU Productions stage plays, Preyin On Faith, in which he played Min. Damon and A Fathers Love, as The Father. Colin is currently the Assistant Director and Music DIrector of the musical stage play, Legends Of The Forgotten Borough, which is the story about the life and legacy of the legendary R&B group, The Force MD's.He is also the Music Director of the musical stage play, I, THEE WED. Colin has also as completed his first EP, which will be released soon.
