ETERNITY
By Preshia McNair

GENRE: Thriller / Suspense, Science Fiction
LOGLINE:

When humans run their planet to the brink of famine and plague, a lone wolf from a planet over 400,000,000 miles away must make a decision, will he stick with his own kind, or become a hero to the people he was built to hate ?

SYNOPSIS:

When the human race poisons its own world through greed, overconsumption, and biowarfare, Earth becomes a dying sphere. Crops fail, the oceans sour, and a genetically engineered plague wipes out half the population. From the ashes rises a desperate attempt to survive: human scientists send a signal across the void, begging for help.

Four hundred million miles away, on the cold, storm-wracked planet Verrath, the signal is received—not by humans, but by a species created to destroy them. Among them is Kael, a battle-hardened “lone wolf,” engineered for conquest and raised to believe that humanity is a parasite. When his commanders intercept Earth’s plea, they see opportunity: a weakened enemy ready for eradication.

But Kael sees something different. Through intercepted transmissions, he witnesses the chaos, the desperation, the flickers of compassion among the dying. Haunted by his own doubts about the endless war between their species, Kael disobeys orders and travels to Earth under the guise of reconnaissance.

What he finds is not a planet of monsters, but a world on its knees—families starving, children surviving among ruins, and a handful of scientists trying to undo the damage their kind created. As Kael becomes entangled with Dr. Elara Finch, a brilliant but broken biologist determined to save what’s left of humankind, he begins to question everything he’s ever known.

When Verrath’s armada arrives to finish humanity once and for all, Kael must make an impossible choice: return to his people and fulfill his design, or stand beside the species he was built to hate.

In a climactic final act, Kael leads a rebellion not just against his commanders, but against the destiny written in his DNA—proving that even those born for destruction can choose redemption.
