Gabrielle Makower

Gabrielle Makower is a writer / director / producer based in Los Angeles, CA. She attended New York University and received a BFA in Film and Television and a minor in the Business of Entertainment. Gabrielle's short film The Chromo-Zone (which she wrote, directed, and produced) was screened at / placed in various festivals such as The Cannes Short Film Corner, Chelsea Film Festival, Burbank International Film Festival, SD Women's International Film Festival, and more.

Gabrielle recently launched her production company, Makower Productions, which is her incubator for for story development and production. She strives to produce meaningful content that highlights unique perspectives and opens minds. Gabrielle is passionate about pioneering change within the landscape of the industry to make it a more inclusive, less toxic place.
