"Dave" meets the "The Goonies" when the Reluctant First Gentleman of the United States must work with a gang of school kids to defuse a bomb and foil a group of terrorist who've taken them hostage (108 pages).

SYNOPSIS:

The Reluctant First Gentleman tells the story of Gilbert Conner, a teacher in his fifties whose life changes abruptly when his wife, Elizabeth, becomes the President of the United States. But...he wants nothing to do with it. He's a simple man, a man that enjoys teaching carpentry at an ancient prep school. As Gilbert struggles to escape the spotlight, he finds himself caught amid a terrorist attack with potentially immense consequences at his school. Trying to find ways to defuse a bomb before it’s too late, Gilbert teams up with a gang of school kids and Jason, a homeless child living in the walls of the ancient facility who knows every tiny detail and hidden passage in the school. As the President's only hope lies in her husband, that's hesitant over their future as a couple, Gilbert and the kids manage to go against all odds and save the world.
