Producer/Writer/Director with 24 years experience in the entertainment and theater industry
Simon started acting professionally in a small theater in Cologne while still pursuing music as a singer/lyrics-writer in a popular local band in 1983. His entry into the 1993 Boston Playwright's Festival lauded his play 'Sarah' as “the birth of a new genre in theater”, which he also directed.
Simon went on to produce/direct several large performance/events in Berlin and Belgium, while working as an actor in German television. He also found time to co-write, direct and edit a 30 min. featurette in Belgium, write for the electronica/pop band 'Jamokee' in Berlin and edit for the German TV station 'Deutsche Welle' in Cologne.
In Los Angeles he came in to his own, working as creative editor on the development from storyboard-reel to final edit on the cgi featurette 'You Are Mine' and later working full time as finishing editor on 'The O.C.', 'Smallville', 'Rescue Me', 'Desperate Housewives', 'Ghost Whisperer', 'Bones' and many other Hollywood TV series.
