After her friend accidentally discovers time travel through memory research, a habitually cautious woman risks her sanity and ultimately her father's life by returning to her early teen years to prevent her mother's murder.

In an attempt to connect with her estranged and recently deceased sister, a woman goes on an experimental vacation trip with her sister's avant-garde theater troupe, in which a real-time play unfolds as the itinerary progresses. When she witnesses a murder then narrowly escapes murder herself, her trip becomes a life-and-death struggle to determine what's part of the script and what is real.
